Casper passed away on May 15, 2015 leaving behind a gaping hole in our hearts and our lives. He had been battling cancer and finally, too tred to fight anymore, passed on peacefully surrounded by his family.
We first met him in 2005 -- a naughty, lively little puppy! He helped us get our first contract for animal-assisted therapy with the Skills and Ability School in Nerul.
For 7 years he captured the hearts of students and teachers alike. He was an exemplary therapy dog. Thanks to him the children improved in leaps and bounds! A child who had not spoken in 3 years said his fist word -- "Casper". A child who was severely autistic and could not sit still for a minute, began sitting next to Casper and cuddling him for almost an hour!
He worked his magic on the staff as well. Teachers got over their fear and started coming to him for their daily dose of love.
We will miss you our handsome, gentle boy. Thank you for coming into our lives and changing it forever.
